【Daily Scrum】We face new changes daily and emphasize more readiness for changes than following schedules
Daily Scrum is a daily team meeting with a 15-minute limit. On every Sprint working day, the meeting is held at the same time and place. By taking turns to share and review their individual to-do items, team members can improve communication, identify obstacles, and adjust plans accordingly.
In the Daily Scrums, team members share ideas like "what progress have we made yesterday for the team's Sprint goal," "how will I prepare today to help the team reach the Sprint goal," or "what problems and issues have we encountered during the process." Daily Scrum's standup form aims to keep the meetings effective within 15 minutes. When a discussion gets too much detail, the members may feel tired and naturally focus on the critical information and work content and communicate effectively.
Two usual speaking orders at Titansoft:
- Start with the member facing the rightmost side of the Kanban and work the way to the leftmost one.
- Start with the highest priority work closest to completion and move to those with lower priority and completion levels.
The development teams are free to decide when they want to meet, and each team usually schedules its Daily Scrums in the morning. Visitors arriving at the Titansoft office in the morning will have the opportunity to see the development team members discussing in front of Kanbans on the office walls.
