【Responsibility Assignment Matrix】A tool that delegates team members for a project and clearly defines the relationship between roles and the corresponding responsibilities
A Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI) is a tool for building a table that delegates team members on a project and specifies the roles, related tasks, and members assigned to each role.
The horizontal axis of the table lists the names of stakeholders and personnel, while the vertical axis is the tasks. The table clearly shows the relationship between the roles in the tasks, the jobs these roles are responsible for, and currently uncompleted to-do items to avoid unclear responsibilities in the work progress.
- Responsible: the person actually on the task
- Accountable: the only person responsible for the results
- Consult: the person to consult
- Inform: the person who needs the information
Assemble the members in the RACI Matrix list to delegate responsibilities and build a to-do list quickly. After Titansoft's introduction to Agile, the RACI matrix is used to communicate and divide tasks for cross-departmental or large complex projects.
